In the urgency to create, I choose acrylic. At the dawn of my artistic adventure, I invented my own tools: branches, sticks and old pen tubes to meticulously place on the canvas the details that will illuminate the final result .

Inception of a painting

Each of my creations begins with a sketch in a travel journal that’s always with me. Ideas start to develop, and colors breathe life into the canvas. The white outlines create a sense of air and movement, flowing like a breath, capturing the essence of wind and energy.

My palette features earthy colors that represent layers of the earth and the mineral world. Red ochre, yellow ochre, raw sienna, and burnt umber remind me of weathered earth, burned tree trunks, and traditional shelters.

My favorite color: titanium ecru, my hands seem to fill with warm, fine sand... pure bliss! As time goes on, I’ve started using more vibrant colors in my paintings, nature denies itself nothing, everything is allowed! »

”One could describe her art as tropical symbolism,

as it deeply explores nature, light, and animalistic themes.”

Jean Pierre Brassac (Author)

The final rendering

At the birth of the painting, my creative process is always the same like a familiar routine. I use a mix of matte and semi-gloss mediums to create a balanced interplay of light on the larger shapes.

Then comes the final touch, like an improvised dance, where my favorite elements appear: the circle, symbol of the life cycle, and the touch of gold always associated with my imaginary world. These living reliefs and particles of gold represent for me dream and enchantment. This slow poetic journey of great concentration brings me calm and fullness.

I craft my paintings like jewels; glitter sparkles, pearly colors, and incrustations are laid on the canvas like treasures.

My inspirations

My inspirations are diverse: Polynesian tattoos, Aboriginal art, naive painting, and observing my garden. As a nomad at heart, my artistic evolution owes much to the various cultures I’ve encountered throughout my travels.

« I hope that my imaginative world, filled with animals and plants, transports you into the heart of my universe and invites you all to escape for a moment and explore my inner world »
